A few reminders, please could you...

1. Label children's clothes clearly, especially jumpers and coats.
2. Label water bottles.
3. Bring a pair of labelled wellies that you are happy to leave in school.

Our PE day is a Thursday and we have outdoor learning every week on a Friday.

The children have a fruit/veg snack every morning play. As we are a healthy and nut free school, can you only provide fruit/veg as a snack. Can you please make sure the fruit/pots are labelled clearly.

What have we been learning in class this week?

Week Beginning 21.9.26

Language, Literacy and Communication	Writing We have been using visualisation to draw a scene from a descriptive text. Writing key words. Reading Daily phonics Shared reading Reading keywords Cymraeg We have been practising answering familiar sentence patterns: Ble mae Ben?
Numeracy and Mathematics	We have been practising partitioning numbers in to tens and ones to demonstrate place value. Winning with numbers. We have been completing Hwb numeracy (procedural) assessments.
Health and Wellbeing	Seren yr wythnos We have been playing listening and instruction games in S.K.I.P.
Expressive Arts	We have been exploring colour mixing. We have been rehearsing for our class assembly.
Science and Technology	We have been finding different textures in our environment.
Humanities	We have been learning about fairtrade products.
Other	We have been exploring the woodland area in outdoor learning. We have been learning to play the Ukulele.
