Our School Council visited the Council Chambers in the Guildhall today where they met local councillors and delivered our petition.

We are so excited to announce that the Councillors were so impressed with the work the children have been doing and have agreed for a new crossing to be installed on Llwyn Mawr Road, with the work to be completed over the summer.

Congratulations to the School Council and Miss Lewis for all your amazing work on this project and thank you to parents/carers who signed the petition.

Great day for everyone at Sketty!!

  • April battery Competition Winners

Mon 06 May 2024 Kirsty Palmer

Congratulations to Miss Rees's class, Y2ER. They have won the battery collection competition for April by collecting 240 batteries. This is the second time they have won- well done everyone, we appreciate your efforts.

Please keep supporting the Eco Committee and the school in this great scheme- the children are really behind it and love hearing who has won each month. May winners will be announced just before the end of the month, before we go off for half term- so only 3 weeks to collect this time.

Thank you from the Eco Committee
