We had a fantastic week last week celebrating Refugee week 2024. Teachers planned activities for all classes and we were able to celebrate all the great work in assembly on Friday. 

Thank you to all the teachers for a fantastic effort in educating the children so well about Refugees and creating safe places that everyone can call home. 

As part of Refugee Week work, the School of Sanctuary committee was invited down to Sketty Library yesterday to take part in an animation project, linked to the topic of 'Our Home'.

The children worked with Dean Kelly who is Cultural Community Co-ordinator for the local authority and the incredibly talented filmmaker Jamie Panton, to create animations.

The children were all really engaged throughout and worked really hard to create a short animation in pairs linked to the theme.
