National Children's Gardening Week Photography Competition
National Children's Gardening Week takes place over half term. The aim of the project this year is to inspire children's curiosity.
Tomorrow the Eco Committee will be launching a photography competition in assembly. They would like you to send photos to your child's class teacher to celebrate gardening week.
It could be a photo of your child or they could be taking the photos themselves- the committee will judge accordingly.
It could be a photo of the children working in the garden- digging, weeding, planting or tending. It could be a photo of them helping a parent or grandparent in the garden or allotment.
It could be a photo of something they have already grown.
It could also be a photo of them making bird food, hanging a homemade bird feeder or creating a bug hotel. It could even be a photo of the wildlife your garden attracts.
If you haven't got a garden it could be growing something inside or you could visit a local park or garden with the family and get the children photographing some of the amazing plants and flowers on show there.
The Eco Committee will be judging the photographs the week beginning 10th June with the winners being announced in assembly and prizes given.
Children can bring their photo into their class teacher or dojo/email them in.
Thank you for your support.
