School Council representatives share their views for Swansea Council 2025 Play Sufficiency Assessment
On Tuesday 26th November representatives of School Council were invited to take part in Swansea Council’s Play Sufficiency Assessment.
Pupils had an interactive engagement session with Leanna Cresi from Swansea Council and shared their views on how they feel about play.
In recognition of the importance of play in every child’s healthy development, the Welsh Government placed a statutory duty on every local authority to assess whether there are sufficient opportunities to play.
This Play Sufficiency Assessment (PSA) 2024 is due to be submitted in 2025.
The data will be analysed and ready for submission in June 2025. The responses given will help shape play in Swansea for the next 3 years!
Da iawn bawb!
