Summer Term
WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful, restful Easter Break. This letter contains important information regarding, Breakfast Clubs, beginning and end of school day routines and what to do if your child has Covid symptoms.
BREAKFAST CLUB – If you wish to use breakfast club, the sessions, must be paid for prior to your child attending, at a cost of £1.50 per day. Breakfast Club can be accessed through the main school gate, which is manned between 7.50am-8.05am.
BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL DAY – All school gates, will be opened at 8.40am. There are no designated gates. We ask that Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children be dropped off at their classrooms. Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children can make their way to their classrooms by themselves.
END OF THE SCHOOL DAY – The school gates, will be opened at 3.15pm.We shall continue to dismiss children from their designated gates/classrooms. Parents/Carers are allowed to cross the school premises to collect children from different year groups.
COVID SYMPTOMS Please do not send your child to school if they are unwell. If they have Covid symptoms, Welsh Government advice is to take a Lateral Flow test. If your child tests positive current advice states they must self-isolate for 5 days and return to school after two consecutive negative tests beginning from day 5. (This does not apply to Nursery children)
Thank you for your continued support, particularly with all things Covid related and the steps taken to return school to normal activities.
We have an exciting Summer Term ahead of us!
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you wish discuss any issues or concerns.
