The Welsh Government election will take place on the 7th May and we would like to ensure that everyone who is eligible to vote has the opportunity to do so.

If individuals hold any of the following statuses:
Refugee status
Humanitarian protection
Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
Settled status (under the EU Settlement Scheme)
Pre-settled status
Spouse or partner visas
Leave granted under Article 3 & 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights
Discretionary Leave to Remain (DLR)
Afghan, Ukraine, and Hong Kong schemes

There is an event that is organised by Swansea Council’s Refugee Resettlement Team and the Welsh Refugee Council which will explain eligibility, how to register and how to vote.

This is taking place at Y Storfa on Wednesday 1st April between 4.00pm – 5.30pm.

Some interpreters will be available to help and support.
