  • New Online Safety website launched for 4-7 year olds CEOP

Wed 08 Jun 2022 Carly Jackson

The website is based on the three-episode Jessie & Friends animated series, which aims to equip 4-7 year olds with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to stay safer online. It is intended to be used by 4-7 year olds alongside their parents and carers.

The new interactive website encourages 4-7s to engage safely online by helping them to recognise worrying, upsetting or scary situations and reinforcing the key message that they should ‘Tell A Grown Up’ in these instances.

The website is divided into sections for 4-5 and 6-7 year olds and features relevant and age-appropriate games for the chosen age bracket. Each game focuses on one of four topics:

    • watching videos
    • chatting online
    • sharing pictures
    • gaming online
    •

The Jessie & Friends episodes are also available to watch on the new website to enhance understanding.

Take a look at the new website here

  • NHS - Your Guide to Coughs, Colds, Ear ache and Sore Throats.

Wed 08 Jun 2022 Carly Jackson

The following booklet has been shared with us by the School Nursing Service.

Having an ill child can be a very scary experience for parents. If you understand more about the illness it can help you to feel more in control. This booklet is for parents and deals with common infections in children who are normally healthy. It is not meant for children who have ongoing health problems such as asthma, heart, or kidney problems. You should not rely on the advice in this leaflet for children who are less than 3 months old. Babies younger than this can respond differently to infections.

    SPORTS DAYS 2022

We are looking forward to sharing our Sports Days with you all this year on the school field! Further details will be sent out by class teachers for their year groups. Dates are available to view on the
    Website Calendar.

WEATHER WARNING - If the weather is not on our side on the day and it is wet, we will continue on the allocated days but will use the hall for the events. Unfortunately, we will not then be able to have parents watching due to lack of space. We will however ensure that we share photos of the Sports Day with you via ClassDojo.

Thank you for your continuing support.
