A huge thank you from myself and the Eco Committee. Because of your support we collected a whopping 554kg of unwanted clothes and accessories. All of this will go to help the people of Ukraine. By re-using clothes items we are helping our environment too. We also managed to raise £277 for the school.

Thank you for your continuing support.

  • Eco News: World Water Day: March 22nd

Sun 10 Mar 2024 Kirsty palmer

World Water Day: March 22nd 2024
We are marking World Water Day on 22nd March. It is a day that highlights the importance of clean water and raises awareness of the water crisis around the world.
Every day millions of women and children walk for miles to get clean, safe water. On the last day of term, we are asking that the children wear something blue. With their classes they will be walking 1km . We are asking for a voluntary donation so we can raise money for WaterAid, a charity determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere.

    Many thanks for your support.

  • Eco News: February Battery Collection Winners

Sun 10 Mar 2024 Kirsty palmer

Congratulations to Miss Rees' class, Y2ER. They have won the battery collection competition for February by collecting an amazing amount of batteries. They managed to collect 609! Well done, another amazing effort.

We are now part of Duracell's Big Battery Collection Scheme and are currently 45th on the UK leader board!

We will be counting the next lot early, as we break up on 22nd, so only 2 weeks left for this month. It is shocking, that as a society, we use so many batteries but at least we are doing our bit to stop them ending up in landfill so please keep sending them into us.

Thank you again for your support.
