• Orange Wallet Scheme

  Orange Wallet Scheme 

  The Orange Wallet is one of a range of collaborative national projects funded by the Welsh Government as part of the All Wales ASD Strategy. It is intended to help people, especially those who are autistic, to cope more easily with public transport. The project is based on schemes already running in Devon and Pembrokeshire. Please see below for details of how to obtain an orange wallet in your area if you live in Wales.

• World Down Syndrome Day

  On Tuesday the 21st March, we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day, by wearing odd socks to school.  A huge thank you to all the parents who dressed their children in odd socks. 

  In all the classes the children have been learning about what Down Syndrome is and about being Inclusive. Here are some photos from around the school. 

  Nursery have been making their own painted odd socks, whereas Year 6 have been creating posters to raise awareness, and are to be placed around the school.

  Dear Parents/Carers,
  
  You will be aware of the terrible explosion that took place in Morriston, which has left a family with nothing.
  
  We have had a plea from their Primary school for help.
  
  If anyone has any clothes for a 14-year-old boy or a 10-year-old girl, donations to our school will be gratefully received and we will pass them on.
