  We were so lucky to have TV and radio presenter Ameer Davies-Rana in school last week. Such an inspirational person who told us all how speaking Welsh has helped him to achieve all his goals.

• Dylan Day Competition

  Congratulations to our Year 5 pupils who have been recognised as winners for the Dylan Day competition.
  
  Their work will be featured on the big screens during the main Dylan Thomas Prize award ceremony at the Great Hall on Swansea University’s Bay Campus on 11th May. They will also be on display boards in the reception area there on the night.
  
  We are all very proud of them for their amazing work.

• Free School Meals Update

  Further to previous correspondence, we are pleased to announce we will be rolling out free school meals to all year 2 pupils after May half term. Please note this will be automatic and there will be no requirement to apply for the meals. We aim to roll out to further year groups as soon as possible and will update you on our progress in due course.

• Orange Wallet Scheme

  Orange Wallet Scheme 

  The Orange Wallet is one of a range of collaborative national projects funded by the Welsh Government as part of the All Wales ASD Strategy. It is intended to help people, especially those who are autistic, to cope more easily with public transport. The project is based on schemes already running in Devon and Pembrokeshire.
