MARCH NEWSLETTER
Mon 31 Mar 2025Dear Parents/Carers,
Another month has passed and it has certainly been a busy one at Sketty Primary School. We continued our celebrations for St David’s Day during our Welsh week, culminating in a fantastic Eisteddfod where all the children had the opportunity to perform. We also celebrated Comic Relief and World Water Day. These days are so important in developing the children’s awareness of the wider world beyond Sketty and how we can help others. World Book Day was another fantastic occasion in school and it was lovely to see the children, and staff, dressed up in such amazing
costumes and bring their favourite books to school.
It has been a pleasure again to welcome Parents and Carers to school over the last few weeks for our Spring Term meetings with class teachers.
We would be very grateful if you could complete the feedback form to help us plan for next year.

A huge thank you to our PTA who organised the Rainbow Dress up day and to all parents and carers who supported by sending in items for the hampers. They look fantastic and we are going to have a number of very lucky winners before the end of term. If you would like additional raffle tickets, these can be collected from the school office.
Kind Regards
Mr Simon Lloyd-Jones
Acting Headteacher

The advice sheets include:- Potty training advice
