About the Children’s Commissioner
Rocio Cifuentes is the Children’s Commissioner for Wales.
Our office promotes and protects children’s rights in Wales. All children under the age of 18 have rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Our office is independent, and not a part of the Welsh Government.
We work for every child in Wales who is:
Up to the age of 18
Up to the age of 21 if they’ve been in care, or 25 if they’ve been in care and are still in education
What we’ll do with your answers
Your answers will help us to understand children’s lives and experiences.
This will help us to tell the Welsh Government what they need to do to make children’s lives better.
Next year, we’ll publish a work plan based on our survey responses. This will show the work we’ll do as an office to influence positive changes for children. -
